Editor's Notes

We would like to thank all of the people who helped make Loquemur a success this year. We could not have done it without the support of our fantastic judges, Dr. Durr, Dr. Scheifelbein, and Dr. Wranovix. They took on the challenge of reading and critiquing each and every entry. We would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Ogilvie for proofreading and evaluating the scientific accuracy of the biology entries. Thank you to Jane in Printing for researching the printing costs.

To everyone who entered something this year, thank you. It was really awesome to have so many outstanding entries. There were twenty-three written works and two pieces of artwork; it was very difficult to decide what to include. We appreciate all your hard work!

We would especially like to thank Dr. Burke. She has helped us with every step of this process. Her extraordinary patience, dedication, and original sense of humor have made this all possible.
