Judging Process:
The judges were commissioned to evaluate submitted essays on the basis
of grammar, style, cohesiveness, organization, clarity, creativity and
overall impression. Scores in each category were assigned between 1
and 5, with 5 being the best; then tabulated to determine the cumulative
score. The scores of the three judges were averaged and the top ten
essays were accepted into the journal.
