Masters of Florence: Glory and Genius at the
Court of the Medici at the Pyramid
5:30pm
This WONDERS exhibition tells the fascinating story of the
Medici family through 240 priceless objects including works by
Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Meet in front
of Barry at 5:30 or the Pyramid ticket office at 5:50. RSVP to

Honors Freshmen Retreat
This year's freshmen will travel to Montgomery
Bell State Park
for an unforgettable outdoor adventure experience.
They will
swing through trees, fall (safely, of course)
from platforms, play
challenging games, and conquer obstacles on their
way to personal growth and team development. This is a not-to-be
missed opportunity. $30 cost to students. Meet in front of
Barry
at 2pm Friday. Return to campus late Saturday.

Sunday, October 10
Canoe the Wolf River
All day
We'll leave campus around 8am for a full day
of canoeing the
14-mile Ghost River section of the Wolf.
Our adventure will be led by experienced conservation guides Wendy and
Kalki Winter. This trip is moderately strenuous (lots of paddling),
so be prepared for a workout. RSVP to Dr.

Murder Mystery Night
6:30pm - Honors Classroom K211
In what is typically the most fun activity of
the year, dress up and take on the role of a suspect in a cleverly written
murder mystery. Over dinner we'll reveal clues about our characters
that
will help us discover who the real murderer is!

Friday, November 5
CBU Fall Play: War
of the Worlds
3pm - Spain Auditorium
Attend a re-enactment of the 1938 "alien invasion"
radio broadcast by Orson Welles that caused mass hysteria. We'll
have pizza and cokes and maybe even a short discussion. For much

CSI Memphis - "The Tell Tale Blood Spatter"
6:30 pizza (if your stomach can handle it); 7:00 talk
(All CBU students are invited, but only you get pizza!)
Science Building Room 153
Join us for this interesting and provocative discussion by
Paulette Sutton, a Memphis crime scene investigator from the
Regional Forensic Science Center (aka "The Morgue"). Ms.
Sutton, interviewed by noted detective author Patricia Cornwell
for her book Black Notice, will discuss the art and science
