Read the CBU Bulletin. Important notices and useful information is posted in the bulletin, so take a few minutes each week to check it out. Students are held responsible for all notices posted in the CBU Bulletin. They are posted on bulletin boards throughout campus.

The Add/Drop period runs for one week at the beginning of each term. During this time you can make changes to your schedule without any penalty. After the first week, you may not add additional classes, and you must withdraw from classes you want to leave. Withdrawals count as an attempt to take a class. You only have four attempts to take a class, so keep this in mind when you decide to withdraw from a class. Also, you receive a grade of "W' on your transcript, and you do not receive any refund on tuition paid.

Your requirements for graduation are dependent on what is listed in the catalog for the year you started. The Registrar's Office can provide you with a checklist indicating your requirements for graduation. Plan your courses so that any prerequisites are taken in time for you to take upper division classes. It is very important to take your required math courses as soon as you can. Please check with our office if you have any questions about courses required for graduation for your major. Classes taken off campus must be approved prior to registering for that class. Forms are available in our office.

Senior News and Graduate Student News

If you will complete requirements for graduation in December, you must file an intent to graduate form with the Registrar’s Office no later than September 15. The deadline for May graduates is December 1. This triggers the process that actually gets your diploma ordered.

Your completed course work must be evaluated by both the dean of your school and by the Registrar’s Office to see that all required courses have been successfully completed. In addition to completing all of the courses required per the catalog you fall under, you must also meet the minimum overall GPA requirements, as well as the GPA requirements within your particular major or minor.

If you plan to walk in the graduation ceremony next May, you should also complete an order form for your cap and gown through the Office of Student Life.
