Spend Summer 2008 in England!

Trip lasts from Mid-May to Mid-June

On-site professors will be teaching courses in a variety of studies. This unique four-week program allows students to experience life abroad while still receiving Christian Brothers University credit.

Highlights:

• Visit London, Oxford, and Cambridge
• Take tea breaks in Ormskirk or go out at night in Liverpool or Manchester
• Earn credit in courses with CBU professors
• Live in the student residence hall, single room
• Travel on many regional side trips with students and professors

*ANTH/SOC 160 Cultural Anthropology---- Teri Mason (3 hrs.)
*ENG 380/Honors 390 C.S. Lewis----- Mary Cargill (3 hrs.)

Payment Schedule:

• Cost for the summer trip: $3,650
• Application deadline is December 3 and a non-refundable payment of $200 is due to reserve your space
• The second payment is $500 and is due January 25
• A third payment is $1,000 due on February 22
• The fourth payment is $1,000 due on March 21
• The balance, minus any scholarship you may have received, will be due April 5
• Late registrants and late payments will be charged a $100 late fee

Cost Includes: Health insurance, various student services and learning support services, room (residence halls) and board, approximately 12 meals per week, three CBU credit hours, internet usage, ground transportation to/from the Manchester International airport, several regional side trips including Wales, Cornwall, York. London: train fare, lodging, breakfast, sightseeing bus and day trip to Oxford and Cambridge. Tuition for three semester hours credit.

Not Included: Airfare, some meals, personal shopping, some tips, optional side trips, some museums and plays in London.

Scholarship: Most federal and state aid will apply for eligible students. Partial scholarships are available for qualified students.

Participants Travel to Manchester, England: On their own or with others from CBU as they choose.
