An image of Burton Bridges and Kaci MurleyIt was truly an illuminating experience to explore the rich collection of art and architecture scattered throughout Catalonia, Spain. Barcelonas's most prized landmark, La Sagrada Familia, is an incomplete Catholic temple constructed by Antoni Gaudi. The edifice is a display of how Gaudi's imagination and devotion to Catholicism evolves into an architectural marvel like no other in the world.

An image of Johannah Herren and Pat PapachristouI hope that I will be able to visit Spain again, as I would like to learn more about their culture. This trip to Spain has challenged me more than my five years of Spanish classes from both my high school and college. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who is open to new experiences, fun, people, amazing food, and an interesting culture.

An image of Will BodeenRome is a city full of history that has to be seen firsthand. It's something that you can't get from a book or documentary. The experience alone is worth a million words plus more.

An image of Marly HazenThe Rome-Assisi trip, "Martyrs, Monks, and Mystics," was incredible! While hearing the Pope's homily, studying Caravaggio's art, touring underground churches and religious museums, and exploring the classical architecture of Rome, I learned so much about Christian faith, art, and history. This week-long trip was invaluable to my education as a history major, and I had an amazing time in Italy. Ciao!

In Rome we enjoyed an excellent, informative, well-organized tour. We were able to see a lot with a leisurely feel. It was thought provoking and created interest in learning more about saints and history of the church.

I just wanted to thank you for the direction you provided me when I was trying to setup my study abroad in Jordan. It really helped and this fall I will be studying abroad in Jordan. I just wanted to say "Thank You" again. I know I learned a lot last year while in Rome. And I loved every minute.

This trip was fun as well as educational. To see ancient ruins and churches from the 3rd and 4th centuries is breathtaking. I would encourage people to take this trip because it is a rewarding experience and you get credit for a class in only 3 weeks.

Cheapest way to visit another country in a group. Best way to take a summer course~Eone that is required and keeps you track for graduating on time. A different way of visiting a country (monks, martyrs, and mystic view).

This trip helped me see a lot of churches and learn about them. Also, I got a chance to grow closer to people. It's a good way to get credit in a short amount of time.

Rome and Assisi were wonderful places to visit. The religious and historical sites brought me to a deeper understanding of how others live. Our group from CBU was so much fun to be around since everyone got along well. I was very impressed with the cooperation displayed during our travels. The highlight of my experience was attending a general audience with Pope Benedict XVI. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone, especially students seeing as how it is the most enjoyable way to earn three credits.
