College: Stepped up in his second season at
CBU playing in 29 games, starting 27 ... shot 47% from the field and
88% from the line as he led the team in assists and was fourth in
rebounds ... In his first season at CBU, Jake averaged 7.9 ppg and
3.2 boards a contest. Was second in field goal percentage (.535)
and was game high scorer for the Bucs twice (16 .vs Missouri-Rolla
12-8-01, and 13 vs. UAM 2-2-02). High School: Jake
played at Elder High School in Ohio under Coach Joe Schoenfeld.
While at Elder, Jake earned Honorable Mention All-Ohio honors and
All-City First Team accolades. Jake also served as team captain.
