High School: Shemon played at Bolivar Central High School under Coach Rick Russell.  While at Bolivar Central, he served as the team captain his senior year.  Shemon was also selected to the All-District and All-Region Tournament teams during his college career.  He also received the Tiger Award. College: Prior to coming to Christian Brothers University, Shemon played at Bolivar Community College where he was selected to the JUCO All-Tournament team at the Dyersburg State Classic as well as the Three Rivers Classic.  He also led his team in rebounds and was a second year captain.  Shemon will enter his third year at Christian Brothers University, after redshirting last season due to a back injury.  During his first season, he led the Bucs in rebounding averaging with 6.5 rebounds per game.  He was also fourth on the team in scoring averaging 10.2 points per game.  Shemon serves as a member of the Black Student Association as well as working with the Union Springs Church Youth Program and the Hardeman County Developmental Center. Personal:  Shemon is the son of Joe and Norma Reaves.  He has one sister Twanna; and one brother Toman.
