High School:
Played at St. Benedict High School for Christy Bingham. Sharp was
named to The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps in 2000 and
2001 and selected to the All-District team four consecutive years. In
2000, she recorded 17 shutouts and a 21-5 overall record and received
the Tennessee Coaches Athlete Association Award her junior and senior
seasons.
College:
Sharp made 32
appearances last year for the Lady Bucs striking out 77 batters in 156
innings and had a 3.28 ERA and 14 complete games with two shutouts.
