Lady Bucs Stay Unbeaten at 3-0
By Rori Eddie

Memphis--The Christian Brothers University women’s basketball team improved to 3-0 on the young 2001-2002 season, as the Lady Bucs solidly defeated the visiting Badgers of Spring Hill College, 65-52, inside De LaSalle Gymnasium tonight.

Rubenia Finley continued to build her reputation as the offensive threat, as the freshman guard poured in a game-high 25 points to pair with her team-high nine rebounds. Meanwhile, Sarah Condra continued her sharp-shooting, as the junior guard drained five-of-nine attempts from three-point land to finish with her third consecutive double-digit outing and 18 points.

The Lady Bucs turned 19 Badger turnovers into 12 points, as CBU carried a 30-21 advantage into the locker room at the half, and returned to out-shoot Spring Hill 47-33 percent from behind the arc in the second half.

LaToya Baker would be the only Badger to break the double-digit barrier, as the forward netted 7-of-12 attempts from the floor to end with a team high 16 points. Spring Hill drops to 1-3 on the season.

Christian Brothers will host the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor tomorrow inside De LaSalle Gymnasium at 7 PM.
