High School:
Mary played at Russellville High School under Coach Kordsmier.
While at Russellville High School, she was a dual-sport
participant in basketball and volleyball.
She was selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player in
volleyball and basketball as well as being an All-Conference
selection in both sports. Mary
was also a member of the National Honor’s Society, Who’s Who
Among American High School Students and maintained a 4.0 GPA
throughout her high school academic career.
College: Mary is entering her
fourth year in a Lady Buccaneer uniform and has been a consistent
performer for the team. Last
year, Mary started every game for the Lady Bucs increasing her
career averages in all categories.
Last season, Mary shot .472 percent from the field, .680
percent from the charity stripe, while netting 283 points for a 10.9
points per game average. She
has also snagged 128 total rebounds for 4.9 rebounds per game
average. Mary, a member
for the Christian Brothers University Dean’s List also is the
recipient of an academic scholarship.

Mary is the daughter of Al and Pat Buford of London, AR.
She has one brother, Bert.
