College: Will be returning for her senior season
after a medical redshirt last season ... Selected 2002-03 Pre-Season All-GSC
First-team. Sarah enters her final season with the Lady Buccaneers just 21
points shy of 1,000 for her career, and needs 411 points to break the CBU
All-time scoring record. After Sarah broke the school record for most
three-pointers made in a single season with 70 in her freshman year, she
knocked down 69 during her sophomore campaign. Last year, she finished the
season as the NCAA Division II leader in 3-point field goals made with 102.
Sarah also finished 7th in the nation in 3-point accuracy, hitting on 42.1% of
her attempts. High School: Sarah played at Munford High School under the
direction of Pearl Adams. A multiple-sport athlete, Sarah has been awarded
almost every award anyone could imagine including: Team Most Valuable Player in
basketball her sophomore, junior and senior years; All-Tournament as a
freshman, junior, and senior; All-District as a sophomore and senior. She was
also named Most Valuable Player in Track, Most Valuable Player in Golf, Most
Valuable Player in Cross-Country, Scholar Athlete and nominated “Best of the
West Track and Basketball Player of the Year”. When I was young I
wanted to be: A Tennessee Lady Vol, playing for Pat Summitt Favorite

Holdsclaw I like playing for Coach Schaefer because: He teaches me the
game and has helped me become the player that I am today. Person who has
influenced my life most: My parents, because they both taught me the value
of hard work and what hard work will get you. Personal: Sarah is the
