College: Crystal enters her fourth
season as a Lady Buccaneer ... Played in 27 games, starting 25 ... averaged
14.7 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per contest last year, leading the team
in that category, while shooting 37% from the field ... Needs just 46 points
for 1,000 in her career ... Junior season contributed a solid 7.2 points per
game. She was also consistent on the boards, collecting nearly five rebounds a
game. In 2001-02, Crystal led the Lady Bucs in scoring, 14.6 per game,
rebounding, 6.3 per game, and blocked shots (27). Crystal became the first Lady
Buccaneer in history to earn postseason honors by being named the West Division
Freshman Player of the Year. High School: Crystal played at Harding
Academy under coach Ryan Derrick. While at Harding, she was selected as a “Best
of the Preps” All-District, and All-Tournament Team her senior year.
