High School:
Amonica played at Duncan High School under coach Phil
Landrum. While at
Duncan High School, she was selected as a 1998 Honorable Mention.
She was an Honor Roll student from 1995-1998.
Amonica was also an All-State track star competing in the
1600-meter relay her sophomore year, the 3200-meter relay and 400
meter races in 1997, and the 400-meter in 1998.
College:
Amonica played at Allen County Community College prior to
transferring to Christian Brothers University where she was selected
to the Second Team All Conference (KCJCC) in 2000 and was a 1999
Third Team All-Conference selection.
Amonica redshirted last season is expected to make an
immediate impact on this year’s team.
Personal:
Amonica is the daughter of Ed Culberson and Darlene Culberson.
She has two brothers Chris, and Larry; and three sisters
Christal, Tanesha and Amberst.
