Women's Cross-Country Comes Back to CBU

After a five year hietas, the Christian Brothers University Cross-Country team will be back in full affect for the fall of 2000. Head Coach Seamus Loftus has been working diligently in his recruiting efforts to restart the women's team and with his determination, has succeeded in just that.

After only having three volunteer runners last fall, Coach Loftus will see six faces that will give him a competitive team. The women's team will compete in the same events as the men.

With the excitement growing as the season is just ahead, Coach Loftus feels his new team will perform well.

"These young women are all good kids with great attitudes," said Loftus. "I predict we will have a good showing in all of our events."
