Bucs Come-From-Behind To Defeat
LeMoyne-Owen, 7-5

Minkin pitched four perfect innings of relief and the
Christian Brothers University Buccaneer baseball team came-from-behind
to defeat LeMoyne-Owen 7-5 today at Buc Field.
CBU (12-20) scored one run in five different innings and
two in the top of the ninth to defeat the Magicians.
LOC, playing as the home team today, scored four runs in
the bottom of the fourth, with shortstop John Shaeffer doubling
home two.
Michael St. Cin
started the comeback in the eighth inning, homering to left
field for his first home run of the season and tied the game
at five. Back-to-back doubles from John
Raymond Hehn and Blake
Christian scored Hehn and the go-ahead run in the top
of the ninth. Ryne
Dahlke flew out to left field, driving in Christian to
give the Bucs a two-run lead.
Christian and Andrew
Livernois had two hits each with Christian driving in
two and Livernois driving in one. Hehn scored twice. Jon
Marshall started the game going three strong innings,
allowing just one hit and one unearned run. Molly
McKesson pitched an inning and a third of relief allowing
just two hits and striking out one. Minkin got his first win
of the season.
The Bucs will be back in action this Saturday, April 2 and
Sunday, April 3 traveling to Ouachita Baptist for a conference
series. The team's will play two games on Saturday beginning
at noon and one on Sunday at 1 p.m.
