Koewler’s third season with the Bucs ... Last year,
he appeared in 14 games, starting five and finished with
a 2-3 record and a 4.64 ERA ... He struck out 19 ... Koewler
appeared in nine games as a sophomore, striking out 14
batters.

for John Hatfield at Glen Este High School ... Koewler
helped the Trojans to the 2001 NABF Championship and was
named to the NABF All-Tournament team.
