Bucs Use Big First-Half And Defeat
Ouachita Baptist, 75-59 On The Road

Arkadelphia, AR – The Christian Brothers University
Buccaneer basketball team shot over 50 percent from the field
and defeated Ouachita Baptist, 75-59 tonight.
CBU (12-9, 4-6 GSC) shot 52 percent in the first half and
went into the locker room, up 34-17. Clint
Dowdle led the Bucs with nine points at the half.
OBU (14-8, 6-5 GSC) had nine points from Kennis Green, but
shot just 28 percent from the field and 13 percent from the
three-point line.
The Bucs pushed the lead to 56-37 at the ten minute mark
of the second half.
Dowdle led the Bucs with 17 points on 7-10 shooting. Kevin
Weybright had 13 points, while Lou
Wright and Jordon
Jeffries scored 12. Jake
Bazeley had 11 points.
CBU will travel to Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday, February
10 for an 8 p.m. tip off.
