Murdock
Captures Individual Title At FHU Spring Invite
Henderson, TN – Christian Brothers
University senior Jon Murdock shot a 76 and a 72 en route
to a final total of 148 and won the individual title at the
2004 Freed-Hardeman Spring Invitational.
Murdock was one of three CBU golfers finishing in the top
20 as Ben James and Jeremy Lawyer both finished with a final
total of 163, tying them for 19th. Other top finishers for
the Bucs include Matt Burton with a 164 and Jay McDonald with
a 172.
CBU finished fourth overall as a team behind Martin Methodist,
Freed-Hardeman and Harding. Trevecca Nazarene, Union, Bethel
and Hannibal LaGrange rounded out the top eight.
Up next for the Bucs will be the Gulf South Tournament. This
year's tournament will take place at Hot Springs Country Club
in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Monday, April 19 and Tuesday, April
20.
