Josh Bevell Wins Lyon College/1st
Community Bank Scots Invitational
Final Results
Batesville, AR – Josh Bevell won
his first collegiate tournament when he shot a three over
par, 147 and won the Lyon College/1st Community Bank Scots
Invitational.
Bevell shot a first round 74 and a second round 73 to finish
seven strokes in front of his nearest competition. Harding's
Ryan Appelgate, Union's Luke Yandell, Harding's Andrew Reynolds
and Union's Cole Floyd rounded out the top five.
Harding won the team competition finishing six strokes in
front of Union. CBU finished third, with Lyon finishing fourth.
Other finishers for the Bucs included Colby Bowne in 12th
place, Jay McDonald in 13th, Mitchell Lingerfelt in 14th and
Drew Bringhurst in a tie for 15th.
The Bucs will be back in action when they travel to Conway,
AR to take part in the UCA Invitational on March 28 and 29.
