Golfers Finish Eighth At UCA/First State Bank Classic
Complete Results
Conway, AR – The Christian Brothers
University Buccaneer golf team finished eighth with a
team score of 628 at the Central Arkansas/First State Bank
Classic
today.
Rhett Cheatwood shot a first round 75 and a second round
79 to finish 23rd in the individual standings, the top score
for the Bucs.
Delta State won the team competition with a score of 577.
UCA, Arkansas Tech, East Central and Ouachita Baptist rounded
out the top five. DSU's Pier-Andre Roy was the individual
medalist with a four under par, 140.
Ben James finished tied for 29th with a 155 two-round total.
Nick Holmes had a 158 for 43rd place, Bolby Bowen had a 161
for 50th and Jay McDonald had a 18- for 65th.
The Bucs will travel to Florence, AL on Monday, October
18 and Tuesday, October 19 to participate in the University
of North Alabama Fall Classic.
