Buccaneers Play To Third Double-Overtime
Tie Of Season In 1-1 Draw With Montevallo

Walsh scored 31 minutes
in, but a goal from Montevallo tied the match
at one and the Christian Brothers University Buccaneer soccer
team played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw with the Falcons
tonight.
CBU (5-3-3, 2-0-1 GSC) played in its sixth overtime match
this season and third double-overtime tie.
UM (4-2-1, 1-1-1 GSC) was ranked 22nd in the country by
the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Walsh
scored his first goal of the season on an assist from David Miller. Chris
Marwood had seven shots including three
on goal and Alan
Whittington had seven shots. Marvin
Hypolite had three saves in goal and moved over the
1000 minute mark in just his 10th match of the season.
The Bucs were scheduled to play West Florida this Sunday,
October 3, but due to overwhelming damage still from Hurricane
Ivan, the Argonauts have had to cancel the match.
