Bucs Out Shoot Tampa, But Fall

Boca Raton, FL – The Christian Brothers
University Buccaneer soccer team out shot Tampa today, 14-5,
but a deflection off a defender scored the games only goal
and Tampa defeated the Bucs, 1-0.
CBU (2-3) out shot Tampa 5-3 in the first half and 9-2 in
the second half. Kieran
Wilson led the Bucs' offensive attack
with four shots, including three on goal. Mariano
Ilari, Brian
McNamara and Rasaq
Kuteyi had two shots each.
UT (1-1) managed just five shots the entire match and keeper
Colby West stopped six shots in goal.
The Bucs will be back in action this Sunday, September 11
when they play at Lynn University. Game time is slated for
3 p.m.
