Jackie Moore Named Gulf South
Conference West Player Of The Week
Birmingham, AL – After averaging
23.5 points and eight rebounds, Christian Brothers University
Lady Buccaneer basketball player Jackie
Moore has been named the Gulf South Conference West Division
Player of the Week.
Moore (Windsor, Ontario Canada) scored 23 points and had
nine rebounds in a 63-58 win against West Alabama in the first
game of the Delta Classic. She followed that performance with
24 points and seven rebounds in a 72-60 win over Miles at
the Delta Classic. She hit 10-11 free throws in the game helping
her to an 87 percent mark from the charity stripe for the
week.
Moore is averaging 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds on the season
and will lead the Lady Bucs into their home opener when they
play host to Lane College on Saturday, December 4 at 2 p.m.
