Lady Bucs Stay Undefeated With
69-40 Win Over Lane

Memphis, TN – The Christian Brothers University
Lady Buccaneer basketball team forced 28 Lane College turnovers
and had 17 steals and defeated Lane, 69-40 tonight.
CBU (5-0) took a 30-17 lead into the locker room at the half.
They shot 39 percent from the field led by 10 points from
Ashley Smith.
LC (0-5) shot just 21 percent from the field in the first
half and 30 percent for the game. Litreece Hurn led the Lady
Dragons with 11 points.
Jackie Moore had
14 points and nine rebounds to lead the Lady Bucs. Smith finished
with 13 points and eight rebounds while Ponecia
Anderson had 10 points and four rebounds. Carley
Wright had nine points and Kelli
Gross had five points and six assists.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action on Saturday, December
11 playing host to LeMoyne-Owen at 2 p.m.
