Lady Bucs Can't Overcome First-Half
Deficit And Lose At Southern Arkansas, 63-41

Lady Buccaneer basketball team struggled from the field in
the first half tonight and despite nearly out scoring the
Southern Arkansas Lady Riders in the second half, the Lady
Bucs fell on the road, 63-41.
CBU (11-6, 3-5 GSC) scored just 11 points in the first half,
going 4-21 from the field and trailing 31-11. Mary
Shea Hacket went 2-4 from the field in the half to lead
the Lady Bucs with four points.
SAU (13-6, 4-4 GSC) shot 35 percent from the field in the
half, led by 12 first-half points from Kim Davis. The Lady
Riders went 10-11 from the free-throw line in the half.
Hackett led the Lady Bucs with nine points and six rebounds.
Kristen Kirkland
had 10 rebounds while Carley
Wright scored seven.
The Lady Bucs will come back home and play host to Central
Arkansas on Monday, January 31 at 5:30 p.m. in Canale Arena.
