Lady Bucs Finish Delta Classic
Undefeated With Win Over Miles, 72-60

Cleveland, MS – The Christian Brothers University
Lady Buccaneer basketball team made 26-29 free throws en route
to a 72-60 win over Miles College in the final game of the
Delta Classic.
CBU (4-0) went 13-15 from the free throw line in the first
half, and 13-14 in the second shooting 90 percent in the game.
MC (0-4) shot 47 percent from the field in the game and 54
percent from the three point line. Charon Donaldson made four
three pointers for 12 points and Shashawndra Collins had 14
points.
Jackie Moore had
24 points and seven rebounds to lead the Lady Bucs. She went
10-11 from the free throw line and was named to the All-Tournament
Team. Ashley Smith
had ten points and seven rebounds while Chereny
Woodard had eight points and a game-high eight rebounds.
"I am pleased with our defensive pressure," said
head coach Scott Groninger. "I think we're starting to
develop as a team and this weekend will hopefully be a start
toward finding our identity."
The Lady Bucs will be back in action on Saturday, December
4 when they play host to Lane College at 2 p.m.
