Times: Men 9 a.m. (10,000 Meters)
Women 10:15 a.m. (6,000 Meters)
Location: Shelby Farms on the north side
of the park (Mullins Station Rd)
Course: Mostly grass with some asphalt
sidewalks to cross. Rolling hills.
Entries: Due by Tuesday, October 12. Fax
them to (901) 321-3570. Use the
NCAA form. Fax this form ONLY to me!
Declarations: Between 4:30 and 5:30pm on
Friday, November 5 at the Hampton Inn
Walnut Grove meeting room (Host Hotel). Declarations are Mandatory and must
be
completed prior to the coaches meeting. Fines will be assessed by the NCAA
for failure
to declare during this time.
Course Inspection: The
course will be open on Friday all day.
Coaches Meeting: Will
be held in the Hampton Inn Walnut Grove Meeting Room from
5:30pm-6:30pm. This is a MANDATORY! Fines will be assessed by NCAA if not in
attendance. (snacks will be available)
National Qualifying: Women:
Top 4 teams and 2 individuals
Men: Top 3 team and 2 individuals
Course Marking: A solid
white line will mark the course with flags and markers as
needed. Miles will be marked. Starting Line Teams must report to the starting
line
20 minutes prior to race time for Check-in uniform and number check.
Awards: Awards will be given near the finish
line. The Coaches Association will
recognize the top 15 in each race. You must be a current member for your athletes
to receive an award.
Results: Will be available ASAP at the
awards area. Also, they will be posted on
www.gobucsgo.com
Trainers: Trainers will be available at
7 am at the course Saturday.
Restrooms: Located near the Finish line
(portable restrooms). Also some located in the park.
