Cross Country Teams Have Good
Showing At Little Rock Invite

Little Rock, AR– The Christian Brothers
University Buccaneer cross country team finished sixth and
the Lady Buccaneer team finished ninth at the University
of Arkansas-Little Rock Invitational.
Ben
Knoernschiled finished 12th overall, 11th among collegians
with a time of 27:36.00 over the 8k course. Knoernschild
had the best time among division II athletes at the race.
Lady Buc runner Kim
Crump finished 37th with a time of 21:27.00
in the 5k run.
The University of South Alabama won the men's race with
the host UALR Trojans taking the women's title. Memphis,
Troy State, North Texas, Delta State, Central Arkansas, South
Alabama, Arkansas Tech, CBU and Centenary rounded out the
ten-team field for the women. North Texas,
UALR, Troy State, Central Arkansas, CBU and Centenary rounded
out the seven-team men's field.
The Bucs and Lady Bucs will run on Saturday, October 2 in
the Rhodes Invitational held at Plough Park in Memphis.
