Alabama Men, Harding Women Win
Memphis Twilight Classic Team Titles

Memphis, TN – The University of Alabama
men and Harding University women took home the team titles
today at the third annual Memphis Twilight Cross Country
Classic held at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
CBU freshman Steven
Hill finished 12th overall in the men's
race, the highest ever finish for a Buc in the event. Harding's
Kiptoo won the individual title with a time of 19:04.68.
Freshmen Francis
Ginski, John
Waldorf, and Jordan
Michael finished 41st, 72nd and 78th. Sophomore Andrew
Hayden finished
104th and junior Ryan Ross finished 146th.
Freshman Alicia
Scarborough was the top finisher for the
Lady Bucs finishing 90th. Heather
Gossnell and Charlene
Yeung finished 113rd and 117th, while Lori
Stewart, Laura
Kraeger,
Ashley Prevost and Emily
Wong finished 124th, 133rd, 143rd, and 155th, respectively.
Arkansas Tech's Aoife Cooke won the women's race with a time
of 16:55.32.
The Bucs and Lady Bucs will be back in action September
24th when they travel to Little Rock, AR to compete in the
Arkansas-Litte Rock Invitational.
