Lady Bucs Over Lambuth, 14-0
Jackson, TN – Junior forward Embla
Gretarsdottir and senior forward Stacy-Jo
Fletcher scored
five and four goals, respectively and the Christian Brothers
University Lady Buccaneer soccer team defeated Lambuth University
today, 14-0 in exhibition play.
CBU got out to a fast start leading 7-0 at the break. They
scored another seven goals in the second half and the defense
was stingy holding the Eagle offense to just one shot on
goal the entire game.
Sophomore forward Jessica
Manting and junior defender Joanne
Tobin each added two goals and Junior midfielder Ashley
Smith scored once.
The Lady Bucs will travel to Northern Kentucky on Friday,
September 3 for a match against the No. 20 ranked Ashland
University at 3 p.m. They then will take on the No. 7 ranked
Northern Kentucky Norse at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 5.
