Fletcher Scores Twice As Lady
Bucs Defeat Montevallo, 3-0

Fletcher scored twice and assisted on another and the
Christian Brothers University Lady Buccaneer soccer team
defeated Montevallo tonight, 3-0.
CBU (3-6, 2-1 GSC) out shot Montevallo 11-5 in the second
half to pull away with the win.
UM (2-4, 1-2 GSC) goalkeeper Emily Thurmond had four saves
in goal.
Fletcher had six shots including four on goal. Ciara
McGuiness had a goal while Kristen
Killough and Cara
O'Hern had two
shots each. Amy Clunie had two saves in goal to earn her
third shutout of the season and second straight.
The Lady Bucs were scheduled to play West Florida this Sunday,
October 3, but due to overwhelming damage still from Hurricane
Ivan, the Argonauts have had to cancel the match.
