Lady Bucs Dominate Delta State

McGuiness had
three goals and an assist and the Christian Brothers University
Lady Buccaneer soccer team defeated Delta State 11-0.
CBU (2-6, 1-1 GSC) out shot the Lady Statesmen 43-1 in
the match and had an advantage of 10-1 in corner kicks.
DSU (3-5, 0-2 GSC) had one shot on goal from Katrina DiBella.
McGuiness had six shots en route to her first hat trick
of the season. Two of her goals came via a penalty kick.
Stacy-Jo Fletcher had
two shots and three assists. Helen
Goodacre had one goal,
while Joanne Tobin, Colleen
Hart and Brittany
Butler had
a goal and an assist each. Rachael
Valenzuela and Angela
Papachristou had a goal
each with Jo Welsh and Ashley
Smith adding an assist each. Amy
Clunie earned her second
shutout of the season.
The Lady Bucs will come home and play host to Montevallo
on Friday, October 1. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
