Early And Defeats Lady Bucs, 5-0

Huntsville, AL – Alabama-Huntsville
scored two goals in the first 14 minutes and defeated the
Christian Brothers University Lady Buccaneer soccer team,
5-0 today.
CBU (1-5-2, 0-3 GSC) midfielder Embla
Gretarsdottir had
four shots, including three on goal. The Lady Bucs, playing
short already with Colleen
Hart and Jeanine
Abel not traveling
got hit by the injury bug again when Cara
O'Hern went down
with a knee injury in the first half.
UAH (4-5, 1-1 GSC) got two goals from Lindsey Shemenaur.
Kelly Bateman had a goal and two assists.
Angela Papachristou had two shots, one on goal, while Francesca
Deranzo, Helen
Goodacre and Kate Miller all had one shot
on goal.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action this Sunday, October
2 when they travel to Lincoln Memorial University.
