Lady Bucs Fall To Lincoln Memorial,
7-1 In Nightcap

Decatur, AL – The Christian
Brothers University Lady Buccaneer softball team went down
3-0 after three innings, and couldn't overcome the deficit,
losing to Lincoln Memorial, 7-1 tonight at the Gulf South
Conference Crossover Tournament.
CBU (12-23, 8-15 GSC) sits in seventh place in the GSC West
Division, but is just two and a half games out of the fourth
and final spot in the West for the GSC Tournament.
LMU (25-22, 7-10 GSC) scored once in the first and twice
in each of the third, fifth and sixth innings.
The Lady Bucs scored its only run in the fifth inning when
Hannah Shackelford
hit a sacrifice fly to right field scoring Tia
Shores.
Shores went 3-3 with a run scored tonight. Shackelford, Jenny
Bernard and Paula
Cerrito each had a hit.
CBU will finish off the tournament tomorrow, April 17 with
a game at noon against Valdosta State and at 2 p.m. against
West Georgia.
