Lady Bucs Drop Both Ends Of Double-Header
At North Alabama

Florence, AL – The Christian Brothers University
Lady Buccaneer softball team came from behind in game two,
but lost both games of a double-header today at North Alabama
by the scores of 9-1 and 4-3.
CBU (12-27) gave up seven runs over the first two innings
of game one and couldn't overcome the deficit. The Lady Bucs
scored three runs in the final two innings of game two to
pull within one run.
UNA (34-13) got two complete-games from their pitching staff
as Sabrina Roberts went the distance in game one and Stephanie
Elliott pitched seven innings in game two.

Zavelli in game one for the Lady Bucs' only run. Lauren
Hearn doubled to right center scoring Megan
Sharp in the sixth inning of game two. CBU scored two
more runs in the seventh on a UNA error.
Bernard went 3-3 in game one with an RBI. Paula
Cerrito was 2-3 in game two. Sharp pitched five innings
of relief allowing no earned runs and striking out three.
The Lady Bucs will be off this weekend, but will be back
in action on April 29 and 30 traveling to Delta State.
