McKenzie, TN - The Christian Brothers
University Lady Buccaneer Softball team got a pair of complete-game
performances from its pitchers today as the Lady Bucs swept
Bethel College, 8-3 and 4-3.
CBU (4-2) did it with its bats in game one as Jennifer
Longo had a solo home run and Hannah
Shackelford went 3-4 at the plate. Kathryn
Bomar threw a compete game, moving her record to 3-0.
Megan Sharp pitched
a complete game in the second game to move her record to 1-2.
Bomar helped out with her bat in game two, knocking home a
two-run single in the top of the seventh for the go-ahead
runs.
The Lady Bucs will travel to Livingston, AL this Saturday,
February 26 and Sunday February 27 for a pair of double-headers
at West Alabama. Saturday's games begin at 3 p.m. with Sundays
beginning at 1 p.m.
