Lady Bucs Drop Two At Union

Jackson, TN - The Christian Brothers
University Lady Buccaneer softball team fell in both games
of a double-header at Union University today, losing 9-0
and 6-4.
CBU (6-12) managed just one hit in game one as Bulldog pitchers
Mary Kosco and Crissa Norton kept the Lady Bucs bats silent.
Angela Dunn had
CBU's lone hit. Union scored seven runs in the second inning.
Union (15-6-1) scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth
inning in game two to take the nightcap. Jessica Kee hit
two home runs on the day, driving in eight.
Trailing 3-1 going into the top of the fifth in game two,
the Lady Bucs scored three runs to take a quick 4-3 lead.

Maness would
plate three in the inning.
Maness went 2-4 with two RBIs and a run scored including

Cerrito each drove in two and scored once.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action this weekend playing
host to Ouachita Baptist University on Friday, March 18 at
3 p.m. then hosting a double-header with the Lady Tigers
on Saturday, March 19 at noon.
