Shackelford Named Second Team
All Gulf South Conference

centerfielder Hannah
Shackelford has been named second
team All-Gulf South Conference by the league's head coaches.
Shackelford (Southaven, MS/Southaven HS) had a career year
leading the Lady Bucs in hitting with a .333 batting average
and had a team-high 22 RBIs. She led the team in hits with
43 and was second in home runs with two.
Shackelford helped to anchor a solid defense and led the
team with six outfield assists on the season. She cane four
hits and RBIs shy of setting single season records in those
categories.
Head coach Donna Crone said she saw this promise when she
recruited her.
"Hannah has improved so much from year one to two," Crone
said. "She is a great leader and we look for even more from
her in the future."
