The Lady
Bucs top starter the last three season, Sharp pitched
in 34 games last year as a junior (A new team record),
starting 21 ... Had a 3.23 ERA and a 13-12 record with
three shutouts and 12 complete games ... She struck out
a team-high 90 batters ... She has the second, third and
fourth best innings pitched marks at CBU ... Sharp made
32 appearances for the Lady Bucs in 2003, striking out
77 batters in 156 innings and had a 3.28 ERA and 14 complete
games with two shutouts ... In her freshman campaign,
Sharp set team records for wins (15) and strikeuots (168). |

Played
at St. Benedict High School for Christy Bingham. Sharp
was named to The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the
Preps in 2000 and 2001 and selected to the All-District
team four consecutive years. In 2000, she recorded 17
shutouts and a 21-5 overall record and received the Tennessee
Coaches Athlete Association Award her junior and senior
seasons. |
