Memphis, TN — The Christian Brothers
University Lady Buccaneer volleyball team defeated Lambuth
three games to none tonight in their home opener in front
of 235 fans at Canale Arena.
CBU (2-3) hit .400 in game one and .324 in game two en route
to a .327 match hitting percentage.
LU (2-3) hit .314 in game one, but hit -.030 in game two
and .023 in game three.
Laura Washington had 13 kills and hit .688 for the match.
Nan Kimbrell had nine kills and a match-high 12 digs, while
hitting .400. Lauren
Amundson had 38 assists
and hit
.800
while adding four kills. Bridget
Buckley had 11 digs.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action this weekend when they
travel to Jefferson City, TN to take part in the Carson Newman
Tournament.
