Late Comeback Falls Short And
Lady Bucs Fall To Ouachita Baptist, 3-2

Memphis, TN — The Christian Brothers University
Lady Buccaneer volleyball team fell today at the hands of
Ouachita Baptist University, three games to two. Individual
game scores were 30-20, 28-30, 25-30, 30-24, and 15-13.
CBU (16-8, 4-5 GSC) won game one convincingly, hitting .375
as a team. They dropped the next two only to win game four
and make it close in the fifth and deciding game.
OBU (10-13, 3-5 GSC) hit .287 as a team, including a .524
performance in game five that saw the Lady Tigers commit no
errors.

had 24 kills and hit .432 for the match. Nan
Kimbrell had 25 kills and 12 digs. Krista
Gyarmati had eight kills, 20 digs and hit .364, while
Hattie Schnacke
had 10 kills and 19 digs. Lauren
Amundson had 59 assists and Samantha
Maness had 13 digs.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action on Thursday, October
28 when they take on Rhodes College at 7 p.m. They will be
the visiting team in that match. |
