Lady Bucs Go 2-0 In First Day
At Carson-Newman Tournament
Jefferson City, TN — The Christian
Brothers University Lady Buccaneer volleyball team went undefeated
in its first two matches today at the Carson-Newman Tournament
defeating Mars Hill 3-0 and UNC Pembroke 3-1.
CBU (4-3) was paced in its match with Mars Hill by Laura
Washington as the junior racked up 16 kills and 12 digs.
Krista Gyarmati had
a match-high 21 digs, while Nan
Kimbrell added 12. Aubrey
Pancratz had nine kills.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action tomorrow when they
face-off with Northern Kentucky at 9 a.m. and Newberry at
3:30 p.m.
