freshman blocker Aubrey
Pancratz has been
named the Gulf South Conference West Division Defensive Player
of the Week as announced by the league office today.
Pancratz (Chandler, Arizona/Corona del Sol HS) earns her
second defender of the week honor this season after racking
up 22 blocks (1.38 per game) and 25 digs (1.56 per game)
in helping to lead the Lady Bucs to a 3-1 record this week.
Pancratz had a career-high 11 blocks in the match with Harding.
She followed that up with four blocks in a four-game win
over Arkansas Tech and seven in wins over Ouachita Baptist
and Montevallo.
The Lady Bucs will be back in action tonight, September
27 when they play host to Lane College at 7 p.m. in Canale
Arena.
