University is, for many graduates, an achievement that offers these possibilities,
as well as a deep sense of satisfaction in their lives. A hallmark of
the Christian Brothers’ mission in Memphis since founding Christian
Brothers College in 1871 has been making higher education available to
all who qualify academically, regardless of financial ability. This has
become an increasingly difficult challenge over the past decade as the
need for student funding has surpassed available scholarship dollars.
Currently, nine out of ten students who enter the CBU undergraduate program
receive financial assistance for their educational expenses. This level
of commitment would not be possible without the continued investment in
student scholarships
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Endowed scholarships provide for a student’s education-related costs
during his or her four years of study, and to CBU in perpetuity.
