The Distinguished Alumnus Award was established in 1974 and is our highest award. It is a way to honor those alumni who have distinguished themselves and simultaneously brought honor to the University and the Alumni Association.

Qualifications
The Distinguished Alumnus Award recognizes a graduate of Christian Brothers University who has achieved a notable level of success in life, made significant contributions to his or her profession, supported the effo rts of CBU, and contributed to society through public service and/or church activities.

Eligibility
To be eligible, a person must be a graduate of Christian Brothers University with a bachelor or master’s degree, and must have received the degree more than 10 years prior to being nominated. Unless there is a compe lling reason to merit an exception, only one award will be given each year.
