The National Alumni Association Alumni Awards program began in 1974
with the Distinguished Alumnus Award, and was expanded in the mid-80s
to include the Service Awards and the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award. The Distinguished Alumnus Award is given annually during
Alumni Weekend in October and then presented again publicly at Commencement
in May. All other awards are given during Alumni Weekend. The National Alumni Association considers recognition
of its members an important obligation and the Awards Committee encourages
your nominations.

NOMINATE SOMEONE
FOR AN AWARD
Nomination(s) may be emailed by
clicking on the "Contact
the Alumni Office" link below, or they may be mailed to the address
at the bottom of the page. Simply
provide the name of the award and the name of the person you would like to
nominate for it. Then describe why the individual should be considered for
the alumni award.
Supporting
materials such as a resume or newspaper/magazine articles citing the nominee's
accomplishments will be valuable in the committee's evaluation of credentials
and thus enhance your nominee's candidacy.
