
The Distinguished Young Alumnus Award was
established in 1988. It is a way to honor those alumni who had distinguished
themselves and simultaneously brought honor to the University and the
Alumni Association.
Qualifications
The Distinguished Young Alumnus award recognizes a graduate of Christian Brothers
University who has achieved a notable level of success in life, made significant
contributions to his or her profession, supported the efforts of CBU, and
contributed to society through public service or church activities.
Eligibility
To be eligible, a person must be a graduate of Christian Brothers University
with a bachelor or master’s degree, and must have received the degree
less than 10 years prior to being nominated. Unless there is a compelling
reason to merit an exception, o nly one award will be given each year.
