THANK YOU
Beta Beta Beta, the biology honor society, would like
to thank everyone who participated in their "Bowling for Uganda" bowl-a-thon
on November 18. The event was a great success, raising money for Hope
North, a camp for internally displaced people in Uganda. The winning
teams in the bowl-a-thon were from Kappa
Sigma, 1st
place (pictured above); Tau Kappa Epsilon, 2nd place;
and the School of Science Faculty, 3rd Place. Tri-Beta especially
thanks vice president Jennifer Hendrick, who planned and coordinated the event,
and treasurer Christina Brown, who provided invaluable support. Proceeds from
the bowl-a-thon will go to build a house at Hope North, which will be called
the "CBU Home" and have the names of all of the participating organizations and
teams painted on the wall.
