ALL-AMERICAN: Buccaneer senior center Nick Kohs (Marketing '09) has been named to both the NABC and Daktronics Division II All-America Teams, becoming the first CBU basketball player to earn All-America honors. Kohs, who averaged 21.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game, was one of five players named to the Daktronics All-America First Team, and the only center on the team. He was also one of 16 players named to the NABC's State Farm Division 2 All-America team.

MISSION AWARENESS WEEK

CBU observes Mission Awareness Week, a celebration of faith, community, and service, with the following events:
Wednesday, April 1: The Faculty/Staff Talent Show and Silent Auction (sometimes called the Fool-o-rama). The Silent Auction begins at 6:00 p.m. and the Talent Show at 7:00 pm. in the University Theater. The show is free but you are encouraged to bring a donation as all of the event’s proceeds will benefit the De La Salle Elementary School.
Thursday, April 2: CBU Community Service Day -- Preparing the gardens on campus for spring flowers at 2:00 p.m. Meet at the Aramark office on the lower level of Kenrick Hall (next to Printing Services)
Friday, April 3: Live Stations of the Cross -- Join the Lasallian Collegians in the Buckman Quadrangle at 3:00 p.m.
Friday, April 3: Meet the Founder, Spring Coffee House in Rozier Lounge at 7:00 p.m.
Monday, April 6: Who's this Guy, John Baptist de La Salle? Campus Awareness Activity -- look for signs around campus.
Tuesday, April 7: Church Feast of St. John Baptist de La Salle will be celebrated with a Picnic Lunch in Buckman Quad, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 7: CBU Community Mass in honor of St. John Baptist de La Salle, Patron Saint of Educators, 5:00 p.m., De La Salle/Stritch Chapel.

Fish Fry Friday:
A benefit catfish dinner for the Dream Factory of Memphis will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. outside Student Life for just $5.00! The Dream Factory is is a non profit, 100% volunteer organization dedicated to granting the dreams of critically and chronically ill children ages of three through eighteen. TKE and AXD are hosting this dinner in order to benefit the Dream Factory through TKE’s annual event, Nite of Life. Everyone is invited, so please bring your friends, family, and professors!
